I first want to say you used many of the new patterns. They were used quite well. Now, I want to say that you should not try to use new words that cannot be easily comprehended. Also is 行こうとさそさそいました so supposed to be

えいがはクラスでよく使うのでみんな知ってると思いましたが、ぶんか、えんげきは知らない人がいたと思います。
ぶんか＝その国に住んでいる人たちみんなが持っている、その国だけのルールや生活の仕方
ex.日本のぶんかはかぶき、きもの、アニメーションなどです。
えんげき＝ステージでするドラマ
ex.デイビスさんが作ったえんげきで使われていたうたはすごくよかった。
It was interesting and I personally don't mind you using vocabulary that was not learned, however, it can be problematic when you're presenting it.
ReplyDeleteThe delivery of your speech, though mine was not any better either, was at best lacking a little bit. Your speech was short but it had great potential, just believe in your words. Again, I can't really say much because mine wasn't any better, Hell I even stumble on speeches written in english!

Well, JD. I'm sure デイビスさん already knows how to give and not give a speech. He was probably just overworked and tired, and possibly a little frustrated. It most likely was not a confidence issue. I'll give him a motivational speech to believe in himself more, however.

ReplyDeleteNot bad at all in terms of new grammar patterns. The fourth sentence seems a little weird, out of place a little because of the "です”. Also, (I sometimes catch myself doing it too) it's not a good idea to mix polite and casual speech.

Great job getting all the grammar structures in such a concise way! I did notice a couple of parts where you use informal instead of formal like the rest of the script and aside from using new vocabulary, I think it's well written.
ReplyDeleteNow that Ive read your speech I think its really great. True, you had a rough time in class but that's besides the point just be careful with your formal and informal and dont worry about the new grammar. Bunka and Eiga aren't new vocabulary. so keep up the good work!
